The Institute takes its name from Mustapha which is the primary transliteration of the Arabic name, Mustapha. The name is an epithet of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasalam) that means, The Chosen One.
Al Mustapha Institute was established as a not-for-profit organisation in 2001 to provide Islamic education and cultural support to all persons from across the world who are interested in learning about Islam.
Al Mustapha Institute offers Islamic Studies that focuses on the religion of Islam, on the history and civilisation of the Islamic world, and on the dynamics of contemporary Muslim societies.
